IT'S ABOUT
Experience. Diligence. Knowledge.
History
Maury County Title Co., Inc. was founded in 1986 by a group of local attorneys who wanted to provide southern middle Tennessee with a title company that did things right — thorough searches, clean closings, and an attorney involved at every step.
Nearly four decades later, that commitment hasn't changed. We've closed thousands of residential and commercial transactions across Maury County and the surrounding counties. From Columbia to Culleoka, Spring Hill to Hampshire, Mt. Pleasant to Santa Fe — we know this area's property records, and we know the issues that come up in them.
Today, Maury County Title is wholly owned by Muletown Law, P.C. The attorneys of Muletown Law search every title, review every commitment, and close every transaction. This integrated structure means that when a title problem surfaces — and they do — we can identify it, explain it, and fix it without sending you to a separate law firm.
We provide title examinations, title insurance, closing and escrow services, document preparation, and IRS reporting — everything required to close a real estate transaction in Tennessee.
What Makes Us Different
Attorney-supervised from search to closing. Most title companies separate the search, the commitment, and the closing across different people — sometimes different companies. At Maury County Title, our attorney searches the title, reviews the commitment, and sits at the closing table. One set of eyes on the entire file means problems get caught early and questions get answered on the spot.
Decades of local records knowledge. Our team has been searching titles in Maury County since the records were on paper. We know where the gaps are, where the common issues hide, and what to look for in properties that have changed hands multiple times over generations.
Integrated legal services. When a search reveals a title defect that needs legal work — a quiet title action, a partition suit, a deed correction, an unreleased lien — our law firm handles it. You don't need to find a separate attorney, explain the situation from scratch, or wait for two firms to coordinate. The same team that found the problem fixes it.
Responsive, personal service. We're not a national title factory processing files by volume. We're a local team that knows our realtors, our lenders, and our community. When you call, a person answers. When you have a question at closing, an attorney answers it.
